If you are looking for a job

What we hold

• Your name and the email address you sign in with.
• Your nationality and whether you are Maldivian, hold a work permit, or would need one.
• A one-line headline, if you write one.
• The CV file you upload, the plain text we read out of it, and the structured profile we build from that text.
• Which jobs you applied to, and the stage each employer has put you at.
• The jobs and searches you save. No employer can see them, and none is told who saved a job or how many people did.

What we never ask for

We do not collect passport numbers, work permit numbers, dates of birth, or any health or medical information. If your CV contains them, they are deliberately left out of the profile we build and are not shown to employers as fields.

Who sees it

Only an employer you have applied to, and only through that application. They see your profile, your CV, and your email address so they can reply to you. Every time a member of their staff downloads your CV we record who did it and when. If you choose to join the talent pool (off unless you turn it on), verified employers can also see an anonymous summary of your skills, job titles, years of experience, languages, qualifications and work status, never your name, contact details, nationality, CV or past employers, and can invite you to apply for a job. They learn who you are only if you apply. You can leave the pool at any time from My account; invitations are kept 180 days.

How AI is used

We use Claude, made by Anthropic, for two things. First, to read your CV into a structured profile so you do not have to retype it. Second, if an employer asks for it, to suggest which applicants to read first. That suggestion is made without your name, your nationality, or your work status, and it never rejects anyone or changes your stage. A person at the employer reads every application.

Email we send you

We email you when your application is received, when an employer moves you to interview, offer, or decides not to continue, and, if you joined the talent pool, when an employer invites you to apply. We do not send marketing email.

If you are an employer

We hold your organisation's name, its workplaces, and the accounts of the people you invite. Job postings you publish are public. What your staff do to an application, including downloading a CV, is recorded against their account. When you invite someone, we keep their email address, the role offered and whether they answered, for 90 days after the invitation is answered or expires; it is deleted sooner if they delete their account.

Removing your data

You can delete your account at any time from My account. When you do, we remove your profile, your CV file, the text we read from it, the structured profile, any AI suggestion made about you, and the jobs and searches you saved. Employers you applied to keep a record that an application was made, with your name and details removed, so their own hiring records stay intact. Records of who downloaded your CV are kept, because their purpose is to show you who saw it.

Who else processes your data

We use these companies to run the service. They act on our instructions and for no other purpose.

Cookies and your location

We set a sign-in cookie when you sign in, and, if you choose "I'm Maldivian, show all jobs", a cookie that remembers only that choice. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. To decide which jobs to show first, we read the country our network provider reports for your connection. We do not store it or link it to you.

Questions

Write to us and we will answer. If you want a copy of what we hold about you, or want it removed and cannot use My account, say so and we will do it. The copy is everything we hold, including whether your account is suspended and when, except internal notes our staff keep to prevent fraud and abuse.
